According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Oneida County Sheriff's is currently investigating a possibly animal cruelty case on Korber Rd in the Town of Trenton. On May 2, 2019 at about 9:57 A.M., Deputies responded to the area of Korber Rd near Thompson Rd where they located a deceased horse on the side of the road. The horse owner has been located and is currently being interviewed regarding the incident. The investigation into the cause of death of the horse is ongoing and it is to early to tell if there will be charges involved in this incident. The SPCA is assisting the Sheriff's Office in the investigation and more details will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
