According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On May 20th 2019 around 7:13 A.M. Deputies responded to a reported personal injury motor vehicle accident involving four vehicles on Old River Road in the Town of Marcy. An investigation revealed that Fredrick Denslow (25) of Remsen, NY was operating a 2017 Ram pick up truck when he followed too closely to another vehicle operated by Kimberly Farren (56) of Marcy,NY in a 2004 Saturn sedan. Denslow rear-ended Farren which propelled her into in another vehicle directly in front her, a 2006 Volkswagon operated by Steven Bell (34) of Lacona,NY. Farren’s vehicle then continued into oncoming traffic in the eastbound lane causing a head on collision with a 2016 Jeep Compass operated by Todd Alton (54) of Hubbardsville, NY. Farren was transported by Kunkel Ambulance to St. Luke’s for further medical treatment as a result of injuries sustained during the accident. Denslow was cited for vehicle and traffic law violations and is to return to Marcy Town Court at a later date and time. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Police, Maynard Fire Department, New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision and members from the Central New York Psychiatric Center.
