According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On May 20th 2019 at around 12:12 P.M. Deputies responded to a reported personal injury motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles on State Route 26 at the intersection of Stokes Westerville Road in the Town of Lee. On scene, deputies determined Diana Havens (41) of Lee Center was operating a 2015 Ford Explore southbound on State Route 26 in the Town of Lee when she approached the intersection of Stokes Westerville Rd. Kevin Johnson (25) of Camden was operating a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound on Stokes Westerville Road when he approached the intersection of State Route 26. According to witnesses on scene, Johnson failed to stop for the stop sign and entered the intersection causing both vehicles to collide. Both drivers were transported to area hospitals by AmCare Ambulance for minor injuries. Johnson was issued a traffic ticket for failing to yield right away at the stop sign which is returnable to Lee Town Court at a later date.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Lee Center Fire Department and AmCare Ambulance.
