According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick A. O’Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a New York State level two sex offender was arrested for failing to change his address. Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigator’s C.J. Paravati and Ryan Marshall, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Thomas Decroce, 59, for a Sex Offender Registry Violation-Failing to Change Address, an E Felony. Decroce was processed at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office where he was held pending an arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Court. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by members of the Glades County Sheriff’s Office in the state of Florida.
