According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, 1 man faces charges following a domestic incident in the Town of Westmoreland.

On July 13, 2019 at approximately 3:45 pm deputies responded to a domestic dispute on East Main Street in the Town of Westmoreland. During the investigation, deputies on scene found Aaron Smith, 27, to be in violation of 3 different family court orders of protection. Smith was subsequently arrested on scene and brought to the Oneida County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.

Assisting on scene were members of the New York State Police.
