According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; On July 21st, 2019 at approximately 8:14PM Deputies responded to Higginsville Road in the Town of Verona for a single car personal injury motor vehicle accident.

An investigation revealed that the driver intentionally crashed his vehicle and was transported to Rome Hospital for his injuries and a mental health evaluation.

No tickets have been issued at this time and the incident is still under investigation.
