Town of Western Woman Arrested

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol a Town of Western Woman was arrested on July 24, 2019 at about 3:30 PM at Lake Delta State Park.

Jacquelyn R. Colmey, 36, of Western was at Lake Delta State Park located on State Route 46 when an Investigator from the Sheriff’s Office attempted to place her under arrest for a Larceny that occurred at another location. After a struggle Colmey was placed in handcuffs and transported to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Building. It was later found that Colmey was also in possession of a small bag of Cocaine.

Colmey was charged with Petit Larceny, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree which are all misdemeanors. Colmey was arraigned and sent to Oneida County Jail with a $1000 cash bail for the charges. Colmey is currently on probation in Oneida County for a prior criminal charge.
