According to Sheriff Maciol, a West Edmeston man was injured in a motorcycle deer accident on Maxwell Rd in the Town of Marshall.

As investigated and reported by Deputy Brian Warcup, Zachary Kerwin, 23, of West Edmeston was traveling west on Maxwell Rd in the Town of Marshall when a deer entered his path in the roadway. Kerwin struck the deer with his 2018 Suzuki motorcycle causing Kerwin to crash on the roadway and be partially ejected. Edwards Ambulance transported Kerwin to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for injuries to his left hip and left leg. Dep Warcup was assisted at the scene by Paris Hill Fire Dept.
