According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Derrick O'Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, an Annsville man was arrested today, 8/21/19, for having sexual intercourse with a child in June 2019, in the Village of Sylvan Beach. Oneida County Sheriff's Office Sergeant M. Bolton and Investigator R. Marshall, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Henry Bartle, age 22, for engaging in sexual intercourse with a female child under the age of 15. Bartle was charged with one count of Rape in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony and was held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility pending arraignment at Oneida County CAP Court. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim. The victim has been offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
