According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Remsen man was arrested following a domestic incident in the Town of Forestport on Monday, August 26, 2019.

Police were called to an address on White Lake Rd in the Town of Forestport for a domestic incident around 6:41 pm. Upon Deputies arrival investigation revealed that Frederick Mills, 55 of Remsen, pushed the victim to the ground and pulled a chunk of the victim's hair from their head. Mills then placed his arm around the victim's neck, preventing them from breathing. Mills was taken into custody and transported to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for processing. Mills was charged with Criminal Obstruction of breathing and harassment 2nd. Mills was then transported to Oneida County Jail where he is being held awaiting central arraignment.
