According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019, at about 12:40 A.M., Deputies responded to Senn Road in the Town of Verona for a reported Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident. The investigation into the accident determined that Connor J. Grinnell, age 21 , of Vienna, NY was operating his black, 2002 Suzuki motorcycle, westbound on Senn Road. Conner failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and continued northbound off of the roadway onto the shoulder of Senn Road. When Connor entered the shoulder, he collided with a mailbox, causing Connor to lose complete control of his motorcycle. Connor was then thrown off of his motorcycle and into a wooded area located approximately 100ft from the initial impact area. Connor stated that he had severe neck and back pain, which he was transported to St. Elizabeth’s hospital for evaluation. Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by New York State Police, New London Fire Department, and AmCare Ambulance.
