According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit; On September 10, 2019, Brandon M. Hilsinger, age 22 of Westmoreland, NY, was arrested for Forgery in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony. The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that was reported to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division on August 23, 2019, where it was alleged Mr. Hilsinger stole three person checks from a residence in the Town of Westmoreland. After stealing the checks, Mr. Hilsinger forged the signature on the checks and cashed them. Mr. Hilsinger was arraigned in CAP Court and released on his own recognizance.
