According to Sheriff Robert Maciol of the Oneida County Sheriffs Office, at about 9:20pm, the road patrol was notified of a possible missing 5 year old male from Main St in the Village of Remsen. The investigating Deputies along with the State Police and local neighbors started searching for the child. During the course of the investigation, it was learned that the child could have been with his mother who was not on scene. A short time later at about 10:18pm, the mother returned home and did have the child with her. The child is now back home safe with his parents.
