According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office is assisting Sherill Police Department with a search of a wooded area attempting to locate an armed suspect involved in a larceny in the area of Thurston Terrace in the City of Sherrill. The investigation is on going and the residents are urged to stay inside their houses. Updates will be made when available.
