According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Derrick O'Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Rome man was arrested today, October 11, 2019, for engaging in sexual intercourse with a female child under the age of seventeen. The incident occurred on October 8, 2019 in the City of Rome. Utica Police Department Investigator F. Bruzzese and Oneida County Sheriff's Office Investigator C.J. Paravati, both of whom are assigned to the CAC, arrested Trevor A. Drake, age 24, for Rape in the Third Degree, a Class E Felony. Drake was held at the Rome Police Department pending an arraignment at Rome City Court. An order of protection has been requested on behalf of the Victim and the victim has been offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
