According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on 10/27/2019 at about 12:05 A.M., Deputies responded to 10 Ruth Street in the Village of Vernon, in the area of Nothin' Fancy Café, for a reported physical domestic in progress. Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Tyler R. Wilcox, 21, of Ilion, had engaged in a physical altercation with his girlfriend while inside her vehicle. At the time of the incident, the victim had an active refrain from order of protection against Wilcox. Wilcox was subsequently arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 1st (Felony) and Harassment 2nd (Violation). Wilcox was transported to Pre-Arraignment Detention to await CAP Court.
