According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on October 29, 2019 at about 8:00 AM Deputies were called to a residence in the Town of Trenton for a reported out of control male/domestic dispute. Once on scene the male turned his aggression towards responding depuites. After a brief altercation where the deputy was struck in the face with an object the male was taken into custody. The male was idetified as a Zachary J. Labarbera, 25, of Barneveld.

Labarbera is currently being held at Oneida County Jail awaiting arrignment at Centralized Arraignment Court on several charges including Attempted Assult in the Second Degree, Harassment in the second degree, Resisting Arrest. The deputy was treated for a minor facial injury, and returned to work.
