West Winfield and Sauquoit men escape injuries in car-manure spreader accident

According to Sheriff R. Maciol, a West Winfield and a Sauquoit man were uninjured after a car rear ended a manure spreader.

As investigated and reported by Deputy Brian Warcup, on 103119 at about 7:10 AM, Samuel Jacobs, 31, of Willard Ave, West Winfield, was traveling northerly on Summit Rd in the Town of Paris. Jacobs vehicle collided with the rear of a manure spreader traveling in the same direction on Summit Rd. The spreader was being towed by a farm tractor operated by Robert Frost, 63, of Doolittle Rd, Sauquoit. Neither Jacobs or Frost were injured in the collision. The investigation is continuing. Assisting at the scene were Cassville Fire Dept. Edwards Ambulance and Edwards Towing.
