According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; On November 4th, 2019 at approximately 7:08AM Deputies responded to State Route 31 in the Town of Verona for a two car motor vehicle accident resulting in an injury.

An investigation revealed that Robert Perry, 39 of Verona was operating a 2013 Ford Escape when he failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Mark Street and State Route 31 in the Town of Verona. Perry turned left onto State Route 31 and was struck by a 2013 Honda Civic operated by Brevin Nicholson, 22 of Syracuse.

Perry was transported by Vineall Ambulance to Oneida Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Nicholson was uninjured. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Verona Fire Department and Vineall Ambulance.

Perry was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Verona Court and is to appear at a later date and time.
