According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on Thursday, November 7th, 2019, at about 6:55 P.M., Deputies responded to Holman City Road in the Town of Paris for a reported Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident. The investigation into the accident determined that Erika L. Davis, age 42 of Oneonta, was operating a tan, 2011 Honda CRV, North on Holman City Road when she lost control of her vehicle as she came around a bend in the roadway. Davis's vehicle left the roadway, went into a creek, flipped onto it's roof, and began to take on water. Davis was able to self extricate from the vehicle and make it to a nearby residence. Davis was evaluated for cold exposure and sustained injuries to her abdomen and left leg. Davis was transported to St. Lukes Hospital by Edwards Ambulance for further evaluation. Deputies were assisted on scene by Edwards Ambulance and Clayville Fire Department.
