According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the Sheriff's Office announces the capture of two individuals listed on the Sheriffs 2019 Top Ten Most Wanted List.

On 11/27/2019- Sarah Barrett was located and arrested at Walmart in Cicero after Sheriff investigators developed information that she was frequenting this store. Barrett was wanted for violating the terms and condition of her probation for the original Felony charge of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and has been an absconder since 2018. She was held at Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment in Oneida County Court.

On 12/2/2019 -Hector Mercado was located and arrested at 534 Waldon Ave in the City of Buffalo after Sheriff investigators developed information he may be residing there. Members of the US Marshals NYNJRFTF assisted in the capture. Mercado was wanted on a Oneida County Superior Court Indictment warrant for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. Mercado was held at Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment in Oneida County Court on 12/3/2019.
