According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On December 4th, 2019 at 11:09am Deputies responded to a reported personal injury motor vehicle accident on Augusta Rd. in the Town of Augusta. An investigation revealed that John Noti (72) was traveling westbound on S. Main St. in the Village of Oriskany Falls in a 2019 Chevrolet pickup when he failed to yield the right of way to a 2017 Jeep Cherokee being operated by John Caraher (64), who was traveling southbound on Augusta Rd. As a result, Noti's vehicle collided with Caraher's vehicle at the intersection.

Caraher was transported by Central Oneida County Ambulance to St. Elizabeth's for minor injuries. No traffic tickets were issued.

The Oneida County Sheriffs Office was assisted on scene by Oriskany Falls Fire Department and the New York State Police.
