According to the Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On 12/09/2019, at approximately 1215 AM, Deputies responded to a reported personal injury motor vehicle accident on Hillsboro Road in the Town of Camden. An investigation revealed that Lisa Fortino (52) of Williamstown, NY was traveling westbound on Hillsboro Road in the Town of Camden with her husband James Fortino (59) of Williamstown, NY operating a 2014 Honda SUV when a deer entered her lane of travel where she was unable to avoid the animal. Lisa struck the deer which caused damage to her vehicle and as a result of the collision Lisa complained from a back pain and she was transported to the Oneida Hospital by Camden Ambulance.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Camden Ambulance/Fire Department.
