According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica man was arrested on December 23, 2019 on charges stemming from a domestic incident on December 18, 2019 in the Town of Marcy.

Israel Crespo, age 47, was arrested in the City of Utica by Deputy Zachary Przybyla and Deputy Stephen Manley after a warrant for his arrest was secured on the felony charge of criminal contempt in the first degree. Crespo was accused of forcefully entering his ex-girlfriend’s residence in Marcy and causing physical contact with her, in violation of an order of protection that had been issued when he was in court just a few days prior to this incident answering charges from another similar domestic.

Crespo was arraigned in Oneida County CAP Court and ordered to be held without bail pending further court proceedings in the Town of Marcy.
