According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Derrick O'Meara, who is also the Director of the Child Advocacy Center, a Town of Whitestown man has been arrested for having sexual contact with an underage female child.

Sheriff's Investigator Mark R. Chrysler, who is assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, started the investigation on October 23, 2019 after a report that Noah Brown, now age 18, had sexual contact with a then 15 year old female child. Brown was 17 years old at the time of the incident, which occurred sometime between April 1 and April 5, 2018.

Brown was arrested on December 31, 2019 by Inv Chrysler and OCSO Investigator Ryan Marshall and charged with 1 count of Sexual Misconduct and 1 count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Misdemeanors. Brown was processed and released on an Appearance Ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Whitestown Court in February to answer the charges against him.

An Order of Protection has been requested on behalf of the victim, who has also been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
