According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on Friday January 3rd, 2020 at about 9:16 A.M. Deputies responded to 6144 Muck Road, in the City of Rome, for a domestic in progress. Upon arrival, Deputies located Rory Thatcher(30), of Westmoreland, at the residence and determined he violated a valid order of protection while being there. Thatcher subsequently was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree, Criminal Trespass 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, all class A misdemeanors. Thatcher was transported to the Oneida County Sheriffs Office for processing and held at Oneida County Jail for pre-arraignment detention.
