According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; On January 10, 2020 at about 0810 AM, Deputies responded to Lowell Rd near the intersection of Skinner Rd in the Town of Westmoreland for a reported one car motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Giovana Annatone (38), of Clinton, NY, was operating a grey Toyota Camry on Lowell Rd westbound. Due to slippery road conditions and unsafe speed, Annatone’s vehicle moved from the lane crossing the hazard marking and struck a tree on the North shoulder of the roadway causing heavy damage to the vehicle. Annatone was taken from the scene to St Elizabeth's Hospital to be evaluated for head pain.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office were assisted on scene by the Westmoreland Fire Department and COCVAC Ambulance.
