According Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, 2 people were sent to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries following a 2 car motor vehicle accident on Route 8 Town of Paris. An on scene investigation determined that a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by, Marie A. Goodman (60) Marcy NY, failed to yield the right of way in the intersection to a 2007 Ford, driven by Lindsay G. Coffin (28) Smith Ave Little Falls, NY. The accident occurred at the intersection of Oneida St and Route 8. Ms. Coffin was treated on scene by members of the Clayville FD and Edwards Ambulance and was transported to St. Elizabeth’s by Edwards Ambulance. Mrs. Goodman was also evaluated on scene, but was transported by family to Faxton-St. Luke’s.
