According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at about 12:55 A.M., Deputies responded to Green Rd in the Town of Marshall for a reported MVA Unknown. The investigation into the accident determined that John F. Kilts, 45 of Oriskany Falls, was operating a 2005 Ford Focus, East on Green Rd when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a snow bank. Kilts then continued driving and drove off of the North shoulder of the roadway striking a tree. Kilts sustained non-life threatening injuries from the crash and was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital by Madison Ambulance for further evaluation. Deputies were assisted on scene by Madison Ambulance, Edwards Ambulance, Oriskany Falls Fire Department, and the New York State Police.
