This is an updated news release from the MVA on State Route 365 in the Town of Marcy.

According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on 02/28/20 at about 2:15 PM, a Holland Patent School bus operated by, Jean Marsden (53), of Holland Patent was traveling East bound on State Route 365 in the Town of Marcy when Marsden noticed a vehicle operated by, Jonathan Powers (38), of Holland Patent stopped in the roadway waiting to turn left on to Coates Road North. Marsden was unable to avoid Powers, resulting in a rear-end collision. A (12) year old student was a passenger on the bus, at the time of incident. The student had complaints of minor pain to his left leg. Powers front seat passenger, Miranda Powers (37) of Holland Patent was not injured. J. Powers, Pritchard and Marsden all signed off medically with the Stittville Fire Department on scene. J. Powers complained of minor neck pain on scene. Marsden complained of right hand and wrist pain. Marsden was being transported to Slocum Dickson Medical Group by a personal vehicle. Marsden was issued a UTT returnable to the Town of Marcy Court at a later date and time.
