On March 4, 2020, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible unattended death on Dixon Rd. in the Town of Vienna. Prior to law enforcement arrival, EMS verified the death. The deceased was an elderly female who was found outside her residence. Her death does not appear to be suspicious at this time but the case is pending findings of the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office. The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the New York State Police and North Bay Volunteer Fire Department.
