According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick O’Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, an 18 year old Camden man was arrested for having sexual contact with a child. An investigation conducted by Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Ryan Marshall, assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, revealed that between 2015 and 2016 the offender subjected a 4 year old female child to sexual contact at a home in the Town of Annsville. On 03/10/20 Investigator Marshall arrested the now 18 year old male, and charged him with one count of Criminal Sexual Act 1st, a class B Felony. The male, whose name is being withheld due to his age at the time of the incident, is scheduled to appear at Juvenile Probation in late March. The victim has been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
