According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol a Solvay man was arrested for breaking into a garage on Kimball Road in the Town of Vienna.

At about 6:00 PM last night a homeowner on Kimball Road saw a white male who he did not recognize as living in the area, walking on the road acting suspicious. The homeowner went inside his house and then noticed that the man was looking in his window. The homeowner called police, and the man walked into the back yard and into the garage. When police arrived the man was inside the garage destroying property. The man was not compliant. He would not talk to police and he would not come out of the garage. After several attempts to get the man to come out, SWAT was called in and Dale Martin 36 of Horan Road in Solvay was taken into custody. Martin was charged with burglary in the third degree, a class D felony. He was taken to the Oneida County Correctional Facility where he is being held, awaiting arraignment.
