According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, one person was injured following a two car motor vehicle accident on Glass Factory Road in the Town of Marcy.

At approximately 2:13 pm on March 23, 2020, Kenneth R. Cutler, 71, of Utica was traveling North on Glass Factory Road in a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, when he attempted to pass a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway. Deputies determined the vehicle that was stopped on the roadway was waiting for a vehicle in front of them to make a left turn into a driveway. While passing the unknown vehicle, Cutler’s vehiclestruck the driver side of a 2007 Toyota Corolla which was attempting to enter the driveway. The Corolla was operated by Jennifer L. Moreau, 35, of Herkimer. Moreau was transported by Kunkel Ambulance to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in the City of Utica for apparent minor injuries.. Cutler was issued a citation returnable to the Town of Marcy Court at a later date.

Deputies were assisted on scene by members of the Maynard Fire department and Kunkel Ambulance.
