According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On March 29th 2020 around 3:00 A.M. Road Patrol Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at the Adirondack Ridge trailer park located at 10601 Hulser Road in the Town of Trenton. An investigation determined that Robert Diegnan (24) of Trenton was in violation of an active temporary order of protection issued by Whitestown Court from a previous domestic incident at the same location. While on scene, Deputies also determined that Diegnan was in violation of the Mental Health Law and subsequently taken into custody, arrested and transferred to St. Elizabeth's Hospital for further treatment. Upon his release, Diegnan was then turned over to the Oneida County Correctional Facility awaiting pre-arraignment. Diegnan was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. The active temporary order of protection remains in place for the victim.

Diegnan was previously arrested on March 24th 2020 for domestic related charges but was released on his own recognizance due to the NYS Bail Reform that began on January 1st 2020.
