It is with regret that we announce the passing of Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Retired K-9 Jago. K-9 Jago was the long time partner of Sgt. James Danquer. Over their long career together, K-9 Jago and Sgt. Danquer were an integral part of many investigations for not only the Sheriff’s Office but also for police agencies both in and outside of Oneida County. Quoting Sgt. Danquer, “ He was a great partner - no better dog.” Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sgt. Danquer and his family.
