According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on April 18th 2020 a Utica man was arrested for a domestic incident that occurred on April 17th 2020 in the Town of Marcy.

On April 17th Deputies responded to a domestic incident in the Town of Marcy were they determined Israel Crespo (47) violated a complete stay away order of protection by making contact with the protected party. Crespo was not located on the night of the incident. In a separate incident, around 24 hours later, Crespo again violated the same stay away order of protection and was eventually located and arrested by the New York State Police regarding that incident. Crespo was transported to Oneida County Jail for pre-arraignment detention to be arraigned on both charges early on April 18, 2020. Crespo was charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, in both incidents.
