According to Sheriff Robert Maciol on May 2, 2020, at around 12:20AM Sheriff Deputies responded to a residence on Teelin Road in the Town of Vienna in regards to a missing juvenile.

Upon Deputies arrival it was learned that a 12 year old juvenile had ran away from home and could not be located by his parents. A search was conducted in the immediate area around the residence. After several hours of searching the juvenile was located in a wooded area behind the residence safe and in good health.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by members of the New York State Police, McConnellsville Fire Department, New York State Forrest Rangers, AmCare Ambulance and neighbors and friends of the family in the area.

Due to the nature of the call and the age of the juvenile no more formation will be released at this time.
