On behalf of the members of the Sheriff’s Office, we say thank you to Lynn Robinson, owner of Stash Away Quilt Shoppe in Rome, for her donation of two sewing machines, cloth, and threads to our Jail Programs Unit. She is also allowing us to use two additional sewing machines. Her generosity will allow us to double our daily production of cloth masks made by our inmates. A special acknowledgement to Lt. Deborah Harris for heading up this positive program that’s helping to keep our community and it’s people safe and healthy.
