A Bronx man has been charged after being found in possession of a weapon at the Oneida County Correctional Facility. According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Corrections Officers found a Bronx man, who is an inmate at the facility, in possession of a shank. The Sheriff said that investigators have charged Jason Morales, 36 with promoting prison contraband in the first degree, which is a class D felony. Morales was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court and is being held at the correctional facility. He will return to court at a later date.
