According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On June 23, 2020 at 6:18pm Deputies responded to a reported personal injury motor vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 49 and Lewis Rd. in the Town of Vienna . An investigation revealed that Adria Oliver (35) of Taberg, operating a 2009 Mercury Mariner entered the intersection from Lewis Rd., failing to yield the right of way to Josephine Labarge (54) of Rome. Labarge and passenger, James Labarge were traveling westbound on State Route 49 in a 2019 Toyota Avalon when she was struck on the drive side by Oliver. There was one witness to the incident who was on scene upon Law Enforcements arrival.

James Labarge was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for minor injuries by Amcare ambulance.

Oliver was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way returnable to Vienna Town Court.

The Oneida County Sheriffs Office was assisted on scene by the Vienna Fire Department, Vineall and Amcare Ambulance companies.
