According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a City of Utica man was arrested for Burglary. On June 21, 2020, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Unit and Forensic Identification Unit responded to an address on Woodruff Terrace in the Town of Deerfield to investigate a home that had been burglarized. A suspect was identified and on June 24, 2020, Adrian Ward, age 41, was located in custody at the Utica Police Department for unrelated charges. Ward was taken into custody and processed at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and arrested for Burglary in the Second Degree, C Felony. Ward was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court and sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility on no bail. At this time, the investigation is ongoing and further charges are possible.
