According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, two women were injured in a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Westmoreland.

On 07/17/2020 at about 1:47PM, Dante Clark, age 27, of Las Vegas, NV was operating his 2018 Hyundai south on Route 233 in the Town of Westmoreland when he failed to yield the right of way and attempted to make a left turn onto Cider St, causing a collision with Robin Delong, age 60, of Rome, NY who was operating her 2017 Chevrolet north on Route 233. Delong complained of chest and neck pain. Clark's passenger, Carrie Jenther, age 34, of Westmoreland NY, suffered a broken wrist. Both injured persons were treated on scene by members of the Westmoreland Fire Dept and transported to St Luke's ER for further treatment by COCVAC Ambulance. Clark was issued traffic summons for failure to yield the right of way and unlicensed driver. He is scheduled to appear in Westmorland Town Court in August.
