According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, a women was arrested following a domestic dispute in the Town of Camden.

On Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at about 7:00 PM, Deputies responded to an address on Main St. in the Town of Annsville for a reported domestic incident that occurred at an address on Waldron Rd. in the Town of Camden. It was reported that at some point during the domestic incident, Michele M. Brooks, age 48 of Camden, NY, displayed a pocket knife, held it in close proximity of the victims face and then threw a TV remote at a TV screen, which caused the TV screen to fracture. Brooks was located at the address on Waldron Rd. and taken into custody. Brooks was arrested and brought to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office where she was booked and charged with Menacing in the second degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, a Class A. Misdemeanor. Brooks was then transported to the Oneida County Correctional Facility and held pending an arraignment in Oneida County CAP Court.
