According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on Sunday, August 09, 2020, one person was arrested following a domestic dispute in the Town of Trenton.

On Sunday, August 09, 2020, at about 9:43 PM, Deputies responded to a residence in Mapledale Acres in the Town of Trenton for a reported domestic incident. It was reported that at some point during the domestic incident, Jeromie J. Wheatley, age 40 of Trenton, NY, repeatedly struck the victim in the face with a closed fist, which caused the victim to sustain several small cuts and bruises. Wheatley was located at the residence in Mapledale Acres, taken into custody and charged with Harassment in the second degree, a violation. Wheatley was then transported to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office. After all appropriate paperwork was completed, Wheatley was then transported to the Oneida County Correctional Facility and held pending arraignment in Oneida County CAP Court.
