According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol:

On September 6, 2020 at 2:05pm Deputies responded to a reported personal injury motorcycle accident at 9553 Taberg Florence Rd. in the Town of Annsville . An investigation revealed that Elizabeth Crandall (28) of Parish, traveling southbound on a 2007 Honda motorcycle, lost control of her motorcycle due to loose gravel in the roadway. After hitting the gravel, Crandall struck the guide rail located along the southern shoulder where she was ejected from her motorcycle and over the guide rail into the grass just off the roadway. No one else was involved in the accident according to the witness.

Witness, Alias Wright (34) of Williamstown was riding behind Crandall when the incident occurred.

No citations were issued to Crandall. Crandall was transported via Mercy flight to Upstate Hospital for her injuries.

The Oneida County Sheriffs Office was assisted on scene by the Taberg Fire Department and Amcare Ambulance companies.
