According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Rome man was injured in a motorcycle/farm tractor accident on St. Rt. 26 in the Town of Westmoreland. According to Maciol, Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene at about 03:47 PM. Investigation into the incident determined that James Bradley, 51, of Rome, was operating a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle in a northerly direction on St. Rt 26 in Westmoreland. Bradley attempted to pass a John Deere farm tractor being operated by Michael Peck, 50, of Westmoreland, who was attempting to make a left turn into his driveway. Bradley collided with Peck as he was attempting to pass, subsequently causing him to be ejected from his motorcycle. Bradley was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Bradley was issued citations for following too close and failure to keep right, both returnable to Westmoreland Town Court. Sheriff's Deputies were assisted on scene by Central Oneida County Ambulance, Westmoreland Fire Dept., New York State Police, and Rocker's Towing.
