According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Sangerfield man was arrested on September 15th , 2020 at around 7:45 AM, after Deputies responded to a physical domestic dispute in the Town of Sangerfield. Daniel J. Vanvalkenburgh, 31 of Sangerfield was charged with one count of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, being a class A Misdemeanor, one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, being a class A Misdemeanor, and two counts of Harassment in the 2nd degree, being a Violation. These charges were brought to Vanvalkenburgh after he was involved in a physical domestic with his girlfriend and her mother, all of which occurred in the presence of his girlfriend’s 6 year old child. Vanvalkenburgh was arrested on scene and held in OCJ for pre-arraignment detention to be arraigned at CAP Court at a later time.
