According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy…
According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick O’Meara, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center. On 9/17/20 a Utica man was arrested by Investigator Titus Ciccone of the Utica Police Department assigned to the Child Advocacy Center.
Jean Martinez (25) was charged with Forcible Touching (a Class A Misdemeanor) and Endangering the welfare of a child (a Class A Misdemeanor), following an investigation into two incidents that occurred in 2018 and 2020 involving Jean Martinez inappropriately touching a 15 year old female child and also inappropriate contact with a 14 year old female child over social media.
On 9/17/20, Jean Martinez, turned himself into the Utica Police Department where he was arrested on the two charges and issued appearance tickets to return back to Utica City Court on a later date.
Both victims have been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, officials said.
