According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on September 24, 2020 at about 4:26 PM, Deputies responded to Route 365 in the Town of Verona for a reported one car personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Terrell Todd (31), of Oneida, NY, was operating a white Jeep Renegade on Route 365 westbound. Due to speed not reasonable and failure to maintain lane, Todd’s vehicle moved from the lane exiting the North shoulder of the roadway and traveled several hundred feet across multiple lawns. Todd’s vehicle then struck a hill, became airborne landing in a parking lot behind Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, continued onto the adjoining property and struck an equipment trailer before coming to rest. Todd’s vehicle sustained heavy damage as a result of the accident. Todd and the front seat passenger in his vehicle, Katy Campbell (32) of Oneida, NY, were both taken from the scene by Vineall Ambulance and transported to Oneida Hospital to be evaluated for head/neck pain and lower back pain. Todd was issued traffic citations for speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from lane unsafely, and for an unregistered motor vehicle. All citations are returnable to the Town of Verona Court at a later date.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Verona Fire Department and Vineall Ambulance.
